Instituto-e and Osklen will be responsible to maintain the vegetation for the next two years. The action is part of the effort to keep the ‘Blue Flag’ label, a voluntary eco-label awarded to more than 3850 beaches and marinas in 48 countries across Europe, South Africa, Morocco, Tunisia, New Zealand, Brazil, Canada and the Caribbean. The label was granted to Prainha last year.
Instituto-e helps to disseminate a culture of collective and individual responsibility, transforming concepts into attitudes, speech into action. Instituto-E wishes to become a meeting channel where people, ideas and organizations from Brazil and abroad may share their knowledge towards struggling against the lack of information and also to promote a culture of social-environmental consciousness.
